Maria Dolfini is a curator and writer from Milan, Italy and based in London, where she works in Sales and Artist Liaison at Lisson Gallery. She has lived in Beijing and Taipei and worked previously at the White Cube and Carl Kostyál in London.

Recent curatorial projects include 'The Future of Loneliness' at Guts Gallery, London (30 May - 25 June 2024), 'We Embrace Into Stillness' at Sarah Kravitz Gallery, London (25 July - 7 September 2024) and 'Sam King, Seeing Is Believing' at Eve Leibe Gallery, London (16 July - 4 August 2023).

In 2017 she lived in Beijing and conducted research on gender analysis by interviewing Chinese contemporary artists including Xiao Lu, Xiang Jing, Zhang Dali, Cui Xiuwen and the art critic Jia Fangzhou.

She holds a combined honours Bachelor’s degree in Chinese (Modern and Classical) and History of Art/Architecture from SOAS University of London. Her academic research revolves around the relationship between gender, the body and architecture in contemporary Chinese visual culture.
