WHAT'S NEXT | Episode 2: On Curating

A Conversation between Generations: The Art World and its Future Challenges.

An Intergenerational conversation between Art Historian and Curator Sharon Hecker and aspiring curator Maria Dolfini (Instagram Live, 23 May, 2020).

In this episode we focus on curating, discussing the conceptual foundations and recent developments of curatorial practices, as well as ways in which curatorship may, or may not, change in the post-Pandemic art world. Compelled to confront the limitations of the art world and take a step back, how should young creators approach a career as a curator ? In the COVID-19 era, what makes a curatorial practice relevant? What will matter?
